Elizabeth A. Christy (nee Durkin), on June 13, 2022, age 75.

'Betty' as she was known to family and friends grew up in Philadelphia and later in Barrington, NJ where she met her husband of 50 years Kenneth Christy in grade school. Ken and Betty made their home in Glendora for the majority of their years, and later in Deptford, NJ and The Villages, Fla. Devoted mother of Casey (Shelley) and Brandon (Shannon). Loving Mom-mom of Tyler (Jules), Myranda, Zachary, and Rylie. Dear sister of Annette and the late Patricia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, devoted friends and her faithful canine companion Kenzie.

Elizabeth's two passions in life were her faith and her family. She was a dedicated employee serving as comptroller and accountant for several car dealerships in the southern NJ area, and later as the assistant school business administrator for the Gloucester County Special Services School District. Elizabeth was a faithful parishioner and eucharistic minster at St. Rose of Lima Church. She was talented at cross-stitching and spent many hours creating gifts for family members celebrating a special occasion. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking and hosting Sunday family dinners.

There will be a viewing from 10:30am to 11:30am Friday, June 17 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 300 Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035.

Funeral Mass 11:30am at the Church.

Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
