MUSCATINE, Iowa -Beryl Riley, 84, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, surrounded by family at her home.

A private family service will be held. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Beryl was born on May 22, 1938, in Tintwistle, England the daughter of William and Dorothy Jackson Bamford. She married Michael Riley on July 5, 1965.

Beryl was a homemaker. She was a member of the Geneva Golf Club. Beryl enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing tennis and golf, and dancing in her younger years.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael Riley; two children, Rachel Riley, daughter, and her husband, Armando Castanon, and Sean Riley, son, and his partner, Jennifer Houseman, all of Muscatine; three step children, Michael Riley and his wife, Carol of Rhode Island, Mark Riley and his wife, Allison, of Florida, and Martin Riley and his wife, Joanne, of England; 14 grandchildren, Alexandria, Meghyn, Samuel, Morghyn, Rory, Aubryana, Devyn, Ciaran, Danielle, Dominique, Michael, Patrick, Daniel, and Jonathan; 12 great grandchildren; two siblings, Brian Bamford and Ann Pemberton; and one brother-in-law, Alan Parker.

Beryl was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Elizabeth Parker; and her sister-in-law, Dorothy Bamford.
