Alison Lynn Cooper
April 25, 1994 - June 18, 2022

Alison Lynn Cooper, age 28 of Oskaloosa, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mahaska Regional Health Center in Oskaloosa. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Methodist Church in Monroe. The family will greet friends on Friday beginning at 5:00 pm until service time at the church. Burial will take place at Palo Alto Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com


The daughter of Lee and Amy (Shores) Cooper, Alison was born on April 25, 1994 in Des Moines. Alison lived in Reasnor for much of her childhood, enjoying board games with her family, reading every book she could get her hands on, and spending many days hanging out with her close friends. Alison was passionate about dancing and was involved in dance all through school. She graduated from PCM High School in 2012. After graduating from high school, Alison made a living working with children. She adopted a dog named Mocha that she loved dearly. Alison had a good heart and was always there to lend an ear, a helping hand, or a shoulder to cry on. She will never be forgotten.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Lee Cooper and Amy Cooper; her siblings, Dalton (Whitney) Cooper, Clay (Jessica Beener) Cooper, Alivia Cooper and Wyatt Cooper; her grandparents, George (Anna) Shores, Rhonda (Jeff) Smith and Belinda Snook and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Alison was preceded in death by her fiance Tony Nicholas.
