JUAN V. GARCIA
MUSCATINE, Iowa -Juan V. Garcia, 95, of Muscatine, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
A private family service will be held.
Juan was born on April 17, 1927, in Taft, Texas, the son of Juan Garcia and Catherina Villastrigo. He married Ernestina Mireles on September 28, 1946, in Texas.
Juan worked at Bandag for 25 years. He also was a truck driver for Coca-Cola for a short time. Juan was a member of Ss. Mary Mathias Parish.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and traveling. Juan especially enjoyed his family and spending time with them.
Juan will be deeply missed by his wife Ernestina and daughter; five grandchildren, Ruben Valenzuela Jr., Belinda Castro, Mimi Wagner, Oscar Garcia, Omar Garcia; 11 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Mario A. Garcia, Ricardo Garcia; and great grandson Antonio Valenzuela.
