"Jim was an absolute joy to work with and always seemed to share a positive and humorous outlook, no matter the situation at hand. The huge turnout at Jim's retirement and seeing colleagues weeping, who only knew him professionally, provided a small insight to just how impactful Jim was to those of us blessed to be a part of his life. Thoughts and prayers are with the Burr family during this difficult time. "

"Jim, Why the bidding time has ended so quickly for you, we just can't understand. We can only imagine that you are now sitting in the most awesome shop decorated with your treasures and that you are having some great conversations with good friends on all of your latest finds. You are sure missed here already, but someday I will get to see you and Andy chatting in a Heavenly shop and you won't even have to string any more electrical line. Andy's pretty quiet here without you to confide in. So, for now, until our bidding times are up, we'll see you some day at the Great Pearly Gates(which will hopefully be covered in Muscatine Pearls, of course). -The Boss"
"Jim, I couldn?t have found a better friend than you . After we first met at a garage sale, we had some great years going to flea markets and auctions . I am going to miss talking about who had the latest great ?find?. Without you , the collecting world and all of your friends and family have a large void that can?t be filled . "
