"We first met Larry in 1999 through a mutual friend, Don Janusiak aka "Nush". We asked Larry to join our Slick Willie Invitational Golf Outing which we held twice a year at Bass Lake Golf Course. Larry played in every outing except our 60th held this spring. Although he wasn't able to play because of his pending knee surgery, Larry joined us for dinner and our steak cookout at Butch Meyer's cottage on Lower Post Lake. We all loved Larry's humor, personality, and love of life and became close friends. Larry was a good golfer but always seem to play much better on the flag event holes. He won more than his fair share of flag events to where we nicknamed him "Pot Hunter" and he was always quick to put his winnings in his wallet right next to his first communion money. He was a great guy, a tough competitor, and a true friend that will be deeply missed when we meet this fall for our 61st. RIP Pot Hunter!"

"My wife and I were neighbors with Joann and Larry for 25 years or so. They were the best neighbors anybody could ask for. A typical weekend was we arrive late fri evening and Joann is calling us to come over for cocktails, or Larry is walking across the front of our cottage shacking a glass mixing jug full of manhattans His favorite highball and mine to. He always called me "Brad my boy" when ever we met.i have so many great memories of Larry and Joann. Deer hunting Larry would always walk over and look into our wood shed to see if we had anything hanging. Many times he help look for down deer and help drag out as well. I can not remember how many times we either went out for dinner or had dinner at each other's houses..There always will be a place in my and my wife's heart ??t for Larry and Joann. Thank you Brad Busch..."
