Zachary Adams, 24, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at his home in Ames.

A Celebration of Zack's Life may be held by his family at a later date.

Zachary David Adams was born on October 22, 1997, in Newport News, Virginia.
He is the son of Rick Adams and Lisa (McIntosh) Beckley. Zack grew up on the East
coast until moving to Ames where he completed his high school education. After
graduation, he worked in food service in the Ames area. During his free time,

Zack enjoyed fishing, traveling, watching sports games, in person and at home,
especially hockey and football. He also liked playing video games, visiting local
casinos and loved Las Vegas.

Zack will be missed by his children Johnon Pote and Aryana Pote; father, Rick
Adams; mother, Lisa Beckley; brother, Joshua Adams; sisters, Tiffany Gould, and
Rebecca Dobbins; grandmother, Sharon Ebert; and aunts, Melisa Johnson, Galene
Weems, Sherry Brown, Tammy Price, and Carla Jones. He's also survived by his
cousins, Sesley Holland, Eden Hart, Coltin Adams, JT Adams, Kayla Reid, Bryan
Adams, Seth Adams, Brad Adams, Sara Holub, Desiree Burns, Tyler Brown,
Brianna Brown, Caleigh Brown, Tayler Price, Sydnee Jones, Sophia Jones, Sinclair
Jones, and Sanaa Jones; niece, Kaydence Gould; and nephew, Landen Gould.

Zachary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale Adams, Carol Scanlan,
David McIntosh, and Chuck Ebert; and uncles, Tony Adams and Nick Adams.

Condolences and memories of Zack may be shared with his family. Services are
entrusted to Ames Monument and Cremation Center in Ames.

"Wow sweetie my heart breaks for so many reasons. First for your family of course. I know how much your Dad meant to you im glad you at least got the chance to see and talk with him. My heart breaks for your friends I know just how much you meant to my kids and of course some of your other friends. My heart breaks for you...you were so happy when we were all out in Vegas. You made my trip out there extra special. Thanks for all the laughs, the chocolate factory and cactus garden(you were so excited), for keeping me company when I didn't have any, and for being there for my family I know that they will always cherish that trip with you as will I. My heart goes out to anyone who loved you as you were a very beautiful soul and this worldcwas robbed of you way too soon. My sincere condolences to the family. I hope it can bring a little comfort for you to know that the last week he had was one full of good times. He got to do some shopping in Vegas and got to spoil himself with some stuff he had wanted for some time. He win some money playing his favorite game! He experienced flying over Fremont St with the two best people who considered him family, he saw fireworks and the water show. We had alot of good talks and lots of good food. I know he made a very spec impact on my life and I'm truly going to miss him fir the rest of my life. Don't worry buddy we will honor you always and Vegas will always hold an extra special place in my heart ??. "

"I'm truly blessed having to get to spend your last days alive in Las Vegas with you, I wish you had more time with your father apon returning. I know you were so happy to come back even tho you hated we had to leave vegas. I'm glad we got to do almost everything you wanted and I will go back at the end of the month like we planed to fulfill your last wish, hopefully I can spread some ashes for you while I'm there because your heart was in Vegas. I pay respect to your family especially your father and kids. You were a great man and practically family to me. "
