In loving memory of

Milton Nisson
February 13, 1927 - July 22, 2022

Milton Nisson, born to Eva and Abraham Nisson in Philadelphia, PA on February 13, 1927, passed away on Friday July 22, 2022.
A generally peaceful and passive man, he had only one great fear: Death.
No amount of talking or reasoning or reassuring that everyone had to face that eventually, he fought like the iron man he always was up to the very last minutes of his 95.5 years to continue his life.
In the end, he succumbed, and not so peacefully - but with comfort from his daughter being with him as much as possible, and with the help of good old morphine.
Dad grew up in West Philadelphia, and his family moved to South Philadelphia where he went to High School. He briefly attended local college and then went off into the army during the Korean War era. When he returned, he began working and started his family, so he never did finish college. He was always proud to have risen the ranks in his main career for an institutional catering company, Stewart Services, as Service Manager.
When he moved to Houston in 2014 when he could no longer live such a long distance from his family. He loved Houston immediately, the warm friendly people, the food, and the warm climate.
Dad could be called a Foodie: He was passionate about food, loved food and even obsessed about food even though he remained slim and trim throughout his entire life.
