In loving memory of

Mark Theodore Wilson
June 17, 1962 - August 7, 2022

Wilson,
Mark T.
Muskegon, Michigan

Mark Theodore Wilson, age 60, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on June 17, 1962 to Theodore & Nancy (Huscher) Wilson and graduated from Apex High School in North Carolina and then attended Muskegon Community College with the hopes of becoming an engineer. He fell in love with and married the girl next door Becky Jensen on June 6, 1987. Mark started losing his sight in his early 30's, which blessed him with becoming a stay-at-home Dad. Mark never let his disability slow him down. He was a soccer coach to over 300 children in the Fruitport area, helped his kids with their college level homework, and loved traveling around the country to see them play soccer and other activities. He had a great sarcastic and dry sense of humor and loved reading stories to his great nieces and nephews (even though he made up the stories because he couldn't see the words). He had a huge heart and took in children who needed a father figure in their life. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

"We are so saddened to hear about Mark, Becky. We knew he had vision issues , but it sounds as if he still had a rewarding life with his family. That will always be a special memory for you and your children. We pray that the Lord will comfort you in your sorrow and that He will give you peace. We have many fond memories of both of you during your younger days. God bless you and your family."
