NANCY KAY PLOWMAN
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Nancy K. Plowman, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Reverend Susan Bantz will officiate. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

Nancy was born on October 14, 1940, in Muscatine, the daughter of Clifford Carl and Ethel Marie Hinkley Seiler. She married David Leon Plowman on March 7, 1959, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2014.

Nancy worked as a custodian at the Muscatine Community College for 20 years. In her free time, she liked cleaning, going out for ice cream, and spending time with family, especially getting together with her boys.

She is survived by her two sons, Craig E. Plowman and his wife, Holly, and Mark A. Plowman and his significant other Heather Davis, both of Muscatine; grandchildren, Kelly Smith and her husband Chase, Kody Plowman, Andrew Plowman and fiancé Sadie Cromer, and Zachary Plowman; sisters Bonnie Smith of Muscatine and Pam Littrel of Muscatine; a daughter-in-law Missy Ramirez and husband Alex of Des Moines

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson Dan Best; siblings Bev Hall, Bob Seiler, Bill Seiler.
