In loving memory of

John "Jack" S. Kendall
June 26, 1929 - August 8, 2022

John (Jack) Souders Kendall, 93, of Bradenton, FL passed on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Jack, the son of Samuel A Kendall and Edna Dorothy Souders, was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While earning an Engineering Degree at West Virginia University as a Kappa Sigma fraternity brother, he fell in love and married Jo Coffman. They were married for 67 years until Jo's passing in 2020.

Jack loved making people smile and was engaged in the service industry throughout his three 20+ year careers with Texaco, McDonalds franchise owner, and more recently local real estate sales (retiring at the age of 88).

Outside of work, he enjoyed performing magic and clowning (including appearances as Ronald McDonald) and was active in golf, tennis, and various philanthropic organizations (often providing behind the scenes support in local community theater). He and Jo enjoyed travel and cruising, visiting locations in Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the South Pacific.

Jack is survived by his sister, Joan Thomas, two sons John Jr. and Jan, four grandchildren Laura, Lyndsay, Richie, and Michael, and two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Garrett.

No memorial service is planned at this time although a celebration of Jack and Jo's lives will be held in coming months.
