"Sr Elaine and I were Dominican High classmates. I never had the oppportunity of living with Sister in my teaching years at our Servite schools, but I always admired the work she did. My love and sympathy to all who cherished her. (She and I shared the same birth year.)"

"Such an intelligent and beautiful woman - AND she dedicated her entire life to God. I first met Sister Elaine when she taught us in high school at Servite. Elaine later came to St. Juliana Elementary where my children attended school. How wonderful it was to get to know her in an adult to adult relationship! She was a very kind, compassionate, thoughtful person. After we moved away, we would see her (and some of her Sisters) occasionally at different events, supporting social causes and celebrating milestones of life. She always remembered us, until recently when her memory began to fade. She was a role model. She emulated grace, kindness, wisdom and humor. Thank you, Elaine, for sharing your life with all of us. May you enjoy herself in heaven."

"I first met Sr Elaine at CSI ( Center for Senior Independence) at Detroit Northwest Center. She would come in with her dog as part of the pet therapy program. The participants that loved dogs would be so excited in petting and playing with Sister's dog. As time went on, we worked together in doing special memorials for our seniors who had died. We would do an annual special program. I remember those times fondly as we reminisced
about each participant. I just want to say thank you Sr Elaine. God Bless and RIP. To the family and friends, I pray ? for God to surround each of you with his love, comfort, and strength.
With love,
Lina Cercone"
