Michelle Kampmeier
February 12, 1965 - August 20, 2022

Michelle Kampmeier, of Antigo, died Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 57 years old. She was born on February 12, 1965, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Richard and Jardis (Hansen) Rose. She married Greg Kampmeier on September 17, 1988, at Ascension Lutheran Church.

Michelle lovingly supported her husband through his many busy years of employment. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, making people laugh, and shopping for her grandchildren.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Greg; sons, Michael Kampmeier of Waukesha and Stephen (Ashley) Sensenbrenner of Plover; grandchildren, Ian and Sophia Sensenbrenner; her sisters and brothers, Te'a (Ed) Schweinebart of Ankeny, Iowa, Theresa (William Jr.) Clark of Polar, Paula (Michael) Loomis of Schofield, Ryan (Melissa) Rose of Stevens Point, and Kevin (Tera) Rose of Phillips; mother-in-law, Merry Kampmeier of Plover; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric (Jody) Kampmeier of Sycamore, Ill., Laurel (Bill) Miller of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Susan (Kevin) Sliwicki of Stevens Point. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Kampmeier; a grandson, Chace Sensenbrenner; and father-in-law, Wayne Kampmeier.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Dave Karolus officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
