Angeline Cejka, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Wausau Manor. She was 86 years old. She was born on July 14, 1936, in Antigo, a daughter of Stanley Sr. and Mary (Klamerus) Bula. She married Norman Cejka on June 23, 1955, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2015.
Angie was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1954. She was an optometric assistant and visual therapist for 23 years until her retirement in 1996. She was a board member of the Langlade County Arc for many years.
Angie enjoyed hosting parties for any and every occasion that gave her a reason to cook and bake for family and friends. She liked to travel to their condo in Minocqua and Branson, Missouri and had the opportunity to travel to Poland to visit where her parents immigrated from. A proud moment was when she met Pope John Paul II in Chicago.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara (Ron) Strube of Eau Claire, Janice Cejka of Wausau, Lynn Ridley of Kenosha, and JoAnn Ahles of Indianapolis, Ind; a son, Dale (Anne) Cejka of Wausau; a brother, Raymond (Mary) Bula of Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Virginia Rammer of Albertville, Minn; eight grandchildren, Abbie (Paul) Statz, Nicholas Strube, John (Emily) Cejka, Lauren (Tyler) Leurquin, Ryan Ridley, Caleb, Jacob, and Christopher (Kari) Ahles; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Hailey Strube, Colin Statz, Trent Leurquin, and Baby Cejka on the way.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Ridley; three sisters, Anne (Erwin) Ziebarth, Martha (Alex) Zaganczyk and an infant sister, Dorothy Bula; six brothers, Billie (Waymeth), Stanley (Edna), George (Mae), Theodore, Edward and Thadius; and a brother-in-law, Jim Rammer.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. A parish wake service will be held on Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
