Michael Schey, of Deerbrook, died Monday, August 29, 2022 at Rosalia Gardens in Antigo. He was 67 years old. He was born on June 27, 1955, in Chicago, Ill, a son of William and June (Rodisch) Schey.
Michael worked for Planned Plumbing in Arlington Heights, Ill as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a member of the Union Local 150. In his free time, Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Schey, II of Deerbrook and William "Billie" (Kris) Schey of Wheaton, Ill; two daughters, Shannon Schey of Antigo and Emily Schey of Antigo; three grandchildren, Maria Maierhofer, Abigail and Caleb LaQue; two step-grandchildren, Allison and Janelle Monino; two sisters, Kelly (Kurt) Derlein of Deerbrook, and Kimberley Schey-Scuglik of Rhinelander; two brothers, William (Connie) Schey Jr. of Barrington, Ill, and Timothy (Robin) Schey of Woodstock, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Nicholas LaQue; a sister, Nancy Ray; and a brother, Patrick Schey.
Per Michael's wishes, no services will be held.
