In loving memory of

Mildred R. Fry
October 8, 1925 - September 1, 2022

Mildred Ruth Fry (nee Hunley), affectionately known as Millie, passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2022. She was born on October 8, 1925.

Millie was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. Millie was a devout Christian, rarely seen without her Bible. She prayed the Rosary twice a day thanking God for the good life that she had. Millie grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. She moved to Philadelphia around 1946. While waitressing at the Melrose Diner, Millie met the love of her life, the late Harry F. Fry. They moved on to live in Gloucester Twp., NJ in 1978. Millie worked for Acme Markets in Audubon, NJ for nearly 50 years before finally retiring.

Millie was predeceased by her mother Myrtle, her sisters Opal Ann and Cora Edna and her brother, Ezra. Millie is survived by her son Robert, her two granddaughters Christie Fry and Melissa (Michael) Johnston, two Great Grandsons. Darius Miller (who resided with and cared for her) and Christopher Miller, and devoted former daughter in law Maria Beblo. Millie leaves behind many nieces and nephews that brought her so much joy. Millie's "Original" (former) daughter in law Maria was a source of great entertainment for Millie. Millie and Maria made a great team and included Millie's aides in their #teammillieandmaria dance club. Millie greatly enjoyed listening to Bob Pantana on WOGL's Friday and Saturday Night Dance Party. Millie was incredibly grateful for the love and care given to her, especially by her Granddaughter Christie, her Great Grandson Darius and the loving aides that would jump at a moment's notice to attend to her needs.

In Millie's own words, "God loves you and so do I."

There will be a celebration of Millie's life at the convenience of the family.
