"I have so many fond memories of Carol starting when we went to a one-room country school together through High School and beyond. Even though she was a grade ahead of me in school we still spent time together. She had a tender heart and my thoughts and prayers are with her family. I last saw Carol in 2013 and it was great connecting with her again although it was a sad occasion at our friend, Carla (Seidlitz) Beighley's, funeral. Wish I could come to her memorial service but I'm just getting over the flu. :( "
"I have great memories growing up with Carol, getting confirmed and hanging out in the parking lot at John Marshall. We had a great group of friends and Carol was one of the best! My sympathies to her family, children and siblings- Rest in Peace Carol- Lisa (Kroening) Fanning"
"Aunt Carol is a beautiful soul. I spent a lot of time as a child growing up at her home hanging out with my cousins and her. She was always always very kind and sweet even when I'm sure we were a handful at times. She will be dearly missed!"
