Mr. Fred James Wiersma, age 74, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022. He was born in Mancelona, MI on June 15, 1948 to Fred & Darnella (Ewing) Wiersma. Mr. Wiersma graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 1967. He had been employed as a General Laborer for Howmet. Fred was a member of the Eagles, Eastern Star, and the Masons. He enjoyed outdoor activities like: camping, white water rafting, playing softball, and traveling. Mr. Wiersma also liked going to plays, watching movies , and WWII history.
SURVIVORS
Son, Jeffrey Wiersma; daughter, Anita (Craig) Greeno; brother, Richard Wiersma; step children, Renea (Kerry) Knight, Steven Evans; grandchildren, Kyle Greeno, Amanda Greeno, Kristie Wiersma, Timothy Wiersma, Kattie Wiersma, Kathrine (Steve) Almomon, Joycelyn Lundberg, Rys Evans, Ryver Evans, Emerson Evans & Emilio Evans; great-grandchildren, Savannah Robertson, Kyleight Robertson, Nova Wiersma & Jeremiah Jones.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE

"My deepest sympathy to all of Fred's family and especially his brother, Dick. I last saw Fred when he and Dick came to Wisconsin to get the antique car. I'm sorry I won't get to the funeral, but my prayers are with you all. Fred's Grandmother, Emma Wiersma, was my favorite Aunt and my special memories of time spent with her are precious.
