Shirley Stinewal
September 20, 1955 - September 11, 2022

Shirley Stinewal, of Deerbrook, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 66 years old. She was born on September 20, 1955, in Antigo, a daughter of Ruben and Dorothy (Stone) Stinewal.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1973. Shirley attended North Central Technical College in Wausau and received her associate's degree. She was employed at Marathon County Social Services as a social worker for 20 years.

Shirley loved spending time with family and friends as well as having gatherings at her home and cooking for everyone. She was a comedian at heart, loved to make everybody laugh, and was the life of the party.

Survivors include her son, Tim Stinewal of Deerbrook; grandson, Xavier Stinewal of Stevens Point; granddaughter, Isabelle Stinewal of Morrisonville; sisters, Betty Cossette of Deerbrook, and Carol Henderson of Racine; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Ruthie Bricko of Antigo, Tony and Sally Sorano of Neva; and her co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Geraldine Stewart and Darlene Zoern; brother, Gene Stone; niece, Denise Terry; and great-nephew, DeAmontay Buckley.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Star Neva Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to everyone for their presence, prayers and all acts of love and kindness during this time of bereavement. Never more than now was your kindness needed and appreciated.
