Tom passed away peacefully on Sept. 16,2022. He is survived by Roy, Grace, Ben, and Lillian Watanabe. Deceased are Father Masashi, Mother Mineko Watanabe, and Sister June Arima. Tom graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle. He then served 3 years in the Army, 2 years in Germany. After the Army he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller until Retirement. Tom earned a pilot's license and enjoyed traveling, gamming on horse racing and other sports. Per Tom's Wishes no memorial service is planned.
