Ms. Lorena Brown, affectionately known by family and friends as "Sexy Brown" age 68, passed away at SLKD Nursing Facility on September 12, 2022 in Muskegon, MI. She was born May 29, 1954 in Muskegon, MI to A.C. Jackson and Nella Brown. In the early 60's Lorena accepted Christ and was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of the late Bishop William L. Burrel. She worked over 20 years as a daycare provider for many children and their families. Lorena attended Muskegon Heights High School and later met her high school sweetheart of 52 years, Curtis Henderson of Muskegon, MI. Lorena loved cooking, fishing, shopping, joking, styling hair, dressing and wear her beautiful hats. She also loved to be around others and speaking whatever comes to her mind. Lorena was a family oriented and mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a woman who loved people and was never too busy to listen if you needed someone to talk to. She will be deeply missed by many.

Lorena is survived by her loving family, (1) son: Curtis Henderson Jr; (2) daughters: Toylena Brown and Nella Henderson; great niece, Kayla Harris; (6) grandchildren: Dyrekus Henderson, Curtis Henderson III, Essence Henderson, Camaria Henderson, Lorena Henderson, Curtell Henderson; (1) great-grandchildren: Dyrekus Henderson Jr.; siblings: J.C. Smith of Muskegon Heights, MI , Alvis Houston of Muskegon Heights, MI, Willie Brown of Chicago, IL, and Ricky Long of Muskegon, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nella Brown and A.C. Jackson (Joe Brown), siblings: Earnestine Daily (Stine), Lula Mae Jones, Henry Lee Jones (G), Fred Jones, Luther Lee Taylor, and James Earl Brown (Jimmy)

SERVICE
Monday, September 26, 2022, 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with Pastor Jerry Riley, officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
