James KC Harrington
August 1, 1950 - September 20, 2022

James KC Harrington was born in Des Moines, IA on August 1, 1950, and he was surrounded by loved ones, as he took his final breaths on this Earth on September 20, 2022. James joins his parents, Marie and Leo Harrington, his brothers Gerald (Shirley), Daniel (Virginia), William (Sue), and John (Dixie) Harrington, and his sister Julia (Chris) Keller. He also joins his nephews Michael and David Harrington.
James "Big Jim" Harrington retired from Qwest Telephone company (US West/Northwestern Bell) he and his wife of 50 years, and their youngest daughter (Kristen) moved to Missouri where they made lifelong friends with Karen (Brock) Frost and their families. James, Marsha, and Kristen decided to move to Washington State when the youngest of their grandchildren (Arianna and Liam) were born.
James "Jolly" Harrington was a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War and leaves behind his buddies Gary Haverman, Bill Hankins, and joins Don Hatch at the poker table.
James is survived by his loving wife Marsha, their four children: William (Liz), Marshall (Cynthia), Jennifer (Shane), and Kristen. James is also survived by his grandchildren: Mo Alexander, Anastasia, and Cameron Ludwig; David Harrington; and Arianna and Liam Harrington.
James will be cremated, and his ashes scattered in a separate ceremony. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity in his name.
