Betty A. Flasch
April 1, 1943 - September 27, 2022

Betty Audrey Flasch, age 79, formerly of Gleason, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. She was born on April 1, 1943, in Washington County, Wisconsin a daughter of Arthur and Edna (Crass) Peters. She married John Flasch on April 2, 1960 and the couple later divorced. He preceded her in death in 2008.

Betty worked on Chet Preboski's potato farm and also at Cheers and Blackjack Supper Clubs as a dishwasher.

She enjoyed baking, gardening and animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Jayne (Victor Sr.) Zima of Antigo, and Annette Flasch of Baraboo; eight grandchildren, Victor Zima, Jr., Jennifer Zima, Anthony Flasch Jr., William Flasch, Thomas Flasch, Tiffany Tarrolly, Stephanie Tarrolly, Brittany Tarrolly and Ben Tarrolly; great-grandchildren, Kiara Lynn, Rianna, Dawson and Ricky Zima, Kaiden and Jayse Zima, and Kaylee Flasch; great-great-grandson, Arthur; five brothers, Richard (Adeline) Peters, Robert (Nancy) Peters, Thomas (Rosemary) Peters, Donald "Donny" (Cindy) Peters and William "Billy" (Maureen) Peters.

She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Flasch, Sr., a special friend, Henry Wilke; a grandson, Victor Jr.; great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Hope Zima; two sisters, Judy Vore and Janet Peters; a nephew, Randy Peters; and a niece. Tammy Peters

No services will be held.

If you find yourself in Antigo anytime again soon, I?d love to get together with you. We?re in the phone book(remember those?!).
