"Mom, you had it difficult growing up. You never took things for granted. You taught us this while raising us as kids and even later as adults. You always helped anyone who needed it. When you walked into a room, your smile and warm kindness was contagious. You had a passion in everything you volunteered to do. Later, life threw in some challenges, but you never complained. Maybe part of it was knowing the Love and support you had from your family. Mom, you were an important piece of this puzzle, which we call life. We hope you are at peace, surrounded with loved ones...we miss you, Mom."

Matthew McCoy wrote on Oct 3, 2022:

"I wanted to add a bit more to the story of my mother here. Those who knew this feisty Polish-born woman will always remember her quick wit, loving loyalty, and dedication to helping others. Her life did not start out easy; as a toddler in a war-torn country during WW2, her forced journey through Siberia in cattle cars, schooling in encampments in Africa and later England, and the final journey with her parents and surviving siblings to the United States. She raised 4 children as a single parent. When all may have seemed lost, you never abandoned your hope. Mom, you fought a long and hard battle in your final days, now it is time for you to rest. We will always miss you, Mom."
