Carole Ann Swor
June 1, 1935 - October 11, 2022

Carole Ann (Eddy) Swor, Peacefully passed in her home on the 11th of October, 2022 at the age of 87. Carole was born to Dorothy (Ward) and Clarence Eddy on the first of June,1935 in Muskegon MI.
On the 7th of April,1979 Carole and Major's families celebrated the marriage of Carole to Major Douglas Swor. Major was a treasured gift in our mother's life and she was a gift to him. Together they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. Until Major passed in February, 2022.
Our beautiful mother was a single parent to four devoted daughters; Melissa Danforth, Melinda (Larry) Chambers, Debra (Charles) Holmberg and Laura (Mark) Devries.
Along with her daughters, Carole is survived by her sister; Patricia Fitch and Judy Davis of Pentwater, MI. Sister in-law Hilda (Eddy) Frazier of Tallahassee, FL. Richard Swor of California and Jeff Swor.
Carole was also blessed with six granddaughters; Amy Bergren, Sara Chambers, Ann Koon, Julia (Vijay) Prajapati, Laura Beth Chambers, Carly Swor and a grandson; Richard Swor. Eight great grandchildren. One niece Beth Simon and a nephew Jeff (Janelle) Fitch.
As well as her beloved Major, Carole was preceded in death by her parents, brother Timothy Eddy, brother in-law Floyd (Bud) Fitch and Joey Swor.
Carole supported her family as a secretary at Hackley Hospital for 40 years, Where she met our treasured friend Barb (Crenno) Hilton. Our mothers greatest joys in life were time spent with her family, sunning herself on the shores of Lake Michigan reading a good book, long walks, traveling, and her many pets through out the years. She was also a Red Cross volunteer and a reading mentor at Nelson elementary school.

The family will hold a private service. A summer celebration will be held in remembrance of Carole's life at a later date.
