Terry Ann Rupe, 59, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Private family services are being held.
Terry Ann Rupe was born February 1, 1963, in Phoenixville, PA to Carl and Ethel (Fitzcharles) Rupe. She grew up in Des Moines where she received her education. Terry held various positions that allowed her to help others. She worked at Hardware Hank, Auto Zone, Flying J, and at catering and food service establishments.
Terry was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed rooting on her favorite drive, Aric Almirola. She also loved spending time with her family pets, Doberman pinscher, Foxie Roxie and cats Haus and Brandit.
Terry is survived by her spouse of 13 years, Dennis Lawrence; sons, Brian Rupe, Christopher Hampe, and Jeffrey Thompson; eight grandchildren; brothers, Carl Rupe, Dennis Rupe and Donald Rupe; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Daniel Rupe and Cheryle Rupe.
