"Oh, my Lord, Mary Lou as I think of having been reared in Taunton, Mass right up the street from the 19 Berkley Street gang...I think of how much all of them were my family to this day! Yeap...each and every one of the Gonsalves including your father and mother were my most precious family as well. There were many laughs and fun times right to the end at the Berkley St home. There will not be a time that I will not recall going to pick you up, driving to Taunton, to pick Jo Ann up, then to New Bedford to pick up Nunie, and then on to Newport to harass Toni! She did not want to come with us! Off we were to get something to eat and well.... a day of a wonderful long-lasting memory for me! I will end with a goodbye to ya and to your survivors I send my love and deepest sympathy. Cousin Gala...."
