CAROLINE MAE KRAMER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Caroline Mae Kramer, 27, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 15, 2022.
Caroline was a graduate of Muscatine High School and the wonderful Transition program there. She was a delight: funny, empathetic, caring, and sometimes very silly. She enjoyed Minecraft, YouTube videos, and the ever-macabre Five Nights at Freddie's. She was also a huge fan of My Little Pony. She was much loved and loved fiercely.
Caroline is survived by her father: Michael Kramer; her mother, Catherine Kramer; sister, Anna and Anna's fiancée, Taylor Williams; and family members in Illinois, New Jersey, and Indiana.
Caroline was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, her uncle, Patrick Heazeltine, and her Aunt Reba Kramer.
A Prayer Service for Caroline will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street in Muscatine, with the Reverend Khoa Le presiding. Visitation will follow at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Arc (https://thearc.org/), or to Riding for Success in Muscatine.

"Mike and Cathy-This was devastating news when I found out. I know there are no words that can comfort a parent when they lose a child. Please keep her memories close to your heard moving forward and maybe someday it will heal. My few memories of Caroline are when we would have lunch together (Caroline, her Dad and me). I was so glad to spend time with her during those short visits and will remember her as a happy, yet impatient person when she wanted something and it would take a while to get what she wanted. "My favorite personal Caroline story was from quite a few years ago, I had come out to stay a few days; I had gotten there in the late afternoon, and Caroline seemed ok with my arrival. However her real feelings came out the next morning. She got up, came over to me and said....Liz how long are you staying. LOL Cath, you were horrified, I thought it was so funny. I told her when I was leaving, and she went on about her business. But she clearly felt I had already been there too long and had overstayed my welcome. My dearest friend, how you will ache for her.
