Terri Lynn (Thornburg) Hargan was born on April 2, 1971, in Newton, Iowa to Jim and Betty (Townsend) Thornburg of Baxter, Iowa. She passed away on September 24, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after an illness. A private family burial will take place in Restland Cemetery in Baxter, Iowa.
Terri attended Baxter Community School. Terri married Kelly Hargan in September of 1990 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She worked as a CNA in long term care most recently working for Progress Industries in Newton, Iowa. She loved caring for others. Terri enjoyed craft shows, collecting gnomes, and her pets. She loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her fur babies (cats): Bisquit and ½ Pint; her mother Betty Thornburg of Newton, IA; brother James Thornburg of Monroe, IA; and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kelly Hargan; father Jim Thornburg; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents.
