Amy Valline, 92, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada.

A celebration of Amy's life will tentatively be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023, at McFarland Park in Ames, Iowa.

Amy Anne Valline was born January 7, 1930, in Ames, Iowa to Galen Wesley "Gramp" and Elizabeth "Deeg" Valline. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, eating chocolate and dancing to country music. Most of all, Amy loved helping raise and spending time with her many grandchildren.

Amy is survived by her children, Susan Anderson Whip of Ames, Mathew Winters McKinley of Bushnell, NE, and Sarah Winters of Cheyanne, WY, and many grandchildren and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her sons, Mark Anderson, and Mike Anderson; and siblings, Bill Valline, Betty Linder, and Barb Thomas.
