Marjorie H. Klotz

Marjorie H. Klotz died peacefully on October 31, 2022 in Sarasota, Florida.

She was born in Egypt, Pennsylvania, in 1916 to Dr. Roger and Carrie (Rogers) Minner. She lived through World War I, the previous century's pandemic, the Great Depression and World War II. She was a truly remarkable woman who was an inspiration to all ages, all who enjoyed being in her company.

A graduate of Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in Pa., she taught home economics in Whitehall, Pa., for several years. Known for her many hats and uncomparable sense of style, she was the epitome of a lady. Marjorie possessed beauty, wisdom and caring, and lived each day with a grateful and loving heart.

After moving full time to Florida in 1976, she enjoyed and embraced the Sunshine state lifestyle. She and her husband Donald Klotz traveled the world, enjoying hundreds of cruises and trips across the United States.

She is predeceased by husbands Robert A.Hazard and Donald I.Klotz. Also brothers, Dr. Roger (wife Helen) Minner, Edwin (wife Ann) Minner, sister Carolyn (husband Melvin), brother-in-law Robert Clay Zundel and grandson Toby Lim Sonstroem. She is survived by devoted children, son Robert (wife Julianna) of Mays Landing, NJ, and daughter Marjorie Carrie (husband Roger) of Sarasota, Florida,. She treasured her 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Paulette Zundel of South Carolina. Survivors include beloved step-daughter Mary Wood (husband Russell) of Fairhope, Alabama, 3 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, 850 S. 5th St., Allentown, Pa. 18103.
