MUSCATINE, Iowa - Marilyn Ann Hunn, 84, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.

Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Gannon Hall at St. Mathias Church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscatine Humane Society. Marilyn was born on May 7, 1938, in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of Robert C. and Leona V. Mapes Davison. She married Paul John Hunn on August 27, 1955, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death.

Marilyn was a member of St. Mathias Catholic Church, and was involved in sewing groups there, as well as being a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, walking, and riding her bike. She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Brian Hunn and his wife Dawn, Robert Hunn and his wife Cheryl, Geoffrey Hunn and his wife Mary, David Hunn and his wife Jean Hayward-Lewis, and Nancy Lee and her husband Dennis Kepford; grandchildren, Cori Smith, Josh Hunn, Alex Dugan, Teri Nicole Hunn, Jacob Hunn, Andrew Hunn, Becca Hunn, Nicholas Hunn, and Clayton Hunn; great-grandchildren, Evie Hunn, Colton Hunn, Lucas Dugan, and Gavin Smith; and siblings, Nancy, Cynthia, Barbara, Greg, and Dennis.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; an infant son, Michael; and her brother, Bob.

"You were always more to me than just an aunt. We always had a great time when we together and when I came to live with you, Uncle Paul, and cousins. I will always remember the grease from our Maid-Rites, wallpapering the house with the checks I wrote you, great times in AZ with Mel, the laughs we had and the memories we made.
