"I have many fond memories of hanging out with Bryan in about the 3rd grade, we were best friends then. We stayed friends all through high school. A few years ago we reconnected on Facebook, and I really enjoyed his wit and humor, and following his & Linda's adventures traveling around the country on motorcycles. Bryan Fogg, 61, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 11th, 2022 at UnityPoint Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at 10:00 AM. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. All services will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church located at 1403 24th St. Ames, Iowa 50010.
Bryan Roger Fogg was born on January 17th, 1961 in Jackson, Michigan to Arthur and Ruth Fogg. He grew up in the small town of Leslie and helped run the family chicken farm before graduating from Leslie High School in 1979. In 1994, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at the California State University in Sacramento. After settling down in Iowa, he worked as a controller at AgLeader Technology in Ames before retiring at the end of 2021. Bryan was united in marriage to Linda Sue Tammen on September 29th, 2018 after spending 10 happy years together.
Bryan enjoyed camping with his family and spending time up at their cabin in Bemidji, Minnesota. Many would describe him as a family man with a great sense of humor, and very forgiving. He always looked forward to spending time with his two grandsons who he adored. Bryan and Linda loved traveling together, especially going on motorcycle trips all over the United States. He also enjoyed a nice scotch in the evening.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Josh (Amber) Courter and Kadie Osgood; his grandchildren, Gavin and Landry; his sisters, Jill Barlond and Alice Kokoczka; his brothers, Robert (JoAnn) Fogg and David (Deborah) Fogg; his sisters-in-law, Pat Fogg, Ingrid (Jim) Haase and Dorie Tammen; and his lifelong best friend, Reid Frey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth; his brother, Jack Fogg; his nephew, David Sollid; and his brothers-in-law, Everett Barlond and Rick Kokoczka
