"Mr. Mac will definitely not be forgotten, I will always remember him taking AL, my brother Dwayne and me to go swimming or to the movies, he always made time for the kids in the neighborhood. I will miss coming home from work and him popping out on his porch and yelling, " hey boy!!" And talking with him about how bad our Detroit sports teams are doing, He also got to know Amy, my girlfriend who would on occasion find him leaning against mailbox and she would help him back to the house. Robert Mac, age 79 of Warren, passed away surrounded by his family on November 17, 2022. Beloved Father of Alphonse (Mary) and Betty (Thomas) Wegehaupt. Brother of Nancy. Also, survived by his nieces Cheryl and Donna. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Maryann, brother in law James Smith and his nephew Kenneth. Robert always enjoyed the meals and the company at Dan's Diner. He was a huge Detroit sports fan. Robert was extremely proud of the 37 ½ years that he spent working at Ford Motor Company. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20th 3-6pm, with a service at 4:30pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc.- Duross Chapel, 28499 Schoenherr, Warren 48088. In lieu if flowers, please contribute to a charity of your choice.
