"My Aunt Rose was a sweet and gentle person. When she was 7 years old, she was a flower girl at my parents' wedding. As a teenager, I saw her performance in Amahl and the Night Visitors. She worked hard to sing and perform as well as she did. And in later years she created beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards. With her strong faith, I am sure that she is in heaven with Ken. She will be missed by family and friends whom she has left behind."

"Althoug the time spent in Magnolia with "Aunty" Rose , "Uncle" Ken and family was short, the memories remain vivid and fond. Their kindness, hospitality and generosity to a 17 year old Exchange Student from Western Australia was warm and greatly appreciated to this day. Aunty Rose sure could cook ! Their visit to Perth for my sister Michelle's wedding to Keith was another fantastic time shared. I'm SO excited that both Ken AND Rose found Jesus : the Lover of their Souls ! See you in Heaven one day, beautiful folk. May you rest in perfect peace til Jesus returns to fly you both HOME ! With heartfelt condolences to Keith, Mary, Debbie and Rose's loved ones, from Lisa Kirk (nee Gillham) , husband Mark and family. "

"Aunt Rose, I can't believe your gone. You were such a bright light in my life. I remember the weeks in Avalon. Your great cooking. Sleeping in that big old house as a kid and being awakened by my cousins and the cats that were all dumped on me. I will miss you calling me RootyToot. .. I love you. "
