Gary Mazur
October 3, 1960 - November 13, 2022

GARY EDWARD MAZUR, 62, Roseville, longtime Resident of Eastpointe, MI died suddenly on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Beloved son of Josephine and the late Gerald, brother to the late Barbara (Patrick) O'Brien, Suzanne (Richard) Ouellette, Sharon (B. Thomas) Marchese, Richard, Debra (Christopher) Vizachero, David (Jacqueline), Paul, William (Mary), Patricia (Thomas) Salerno, Kenneth (Jennifer), and John (Sarah), an Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews, a Cousin, and a Godfather.

A 1978 Graduate of East Detroit High School, Gary was a member of the Varsity Football and the Varsity Wrestling teams. Upon graduating he became involved in rough and finished carpentry. In his 20's, Gary found a passion to construct and to restore kitchen cabinets and did many remodeling projects for family and friends. Gary later developed an appreciation of and a love for CNC millwork and steel fabrication. He was employed for small and medium-sized Machine Shops in the years that followed. Gary showcased a discipline and an inordinate attention to detail that was always appreciated and admired. Gary enjoyed all facets of life. In addition to his large family, one of Gary's biggest loves was his best friend and four-year old canine companion, Bear.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am and a Funeral Mass following at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at St. Veronica Catholic Church in Eastpointe, MI. Please keep Gary and his family in your prayers.
