Suzanne E. Novotny

Suzanne E. Novotny, of Deerbrook, died Friday, November 25, 2022, at her son's home in Amherst. She was 78 years old. She was born on September 25, 1944, in Neenah, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lydia (Cill) Dordel. She married Frank Novotny on September 2, 1965, in Antigo. He preceded her in death in 2010.
She was a graduate of Neenah High School, class of 1962. Sue was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho, where she taught religious education classes.
She enjoyed puzzles, crafts, needlepoint, gardening, walking, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include three sons, Brian (Jennifer) Novotny of Plover, Frank (Ellen) Novotny of Alamosa, Colo., and Keith Novotny of Amherst; eight grandchildren, Brian Jr., Alli Sue, Cassie, Andrew, Emily, Kevin, Abigail and Gabriel; great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delores "Lori" (Myron) Wittmann of Neenah.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lauri Novotny and a sister, Phylis Wissink.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo.
