Dorothy M. Whalen (nee Green), on December 5, 2022, of Runnemede; formerly of Delaware. Age 95. Beloved wife of the late James H. Whalen, Sr. Devoted mother of James H. Whalen, Jr. (Gail), Susan Kummer (Gerard), and the late Cheryl Dietrich (surviving husband Joseph). Loving grandmother of Kris (Mindy), Michael (Katie), and Allison Dietrich, Ryan (Megan),and Scott (Krystina) Whalen, and Caitlin Orlando (Tyler), Gregory (Kate) Koch, Gerard Jr. (Dawn), and Jeff Kummer (Joanna) and great grandmother of Payton, Kayden, and Oliver Dietrich, Kenley and Wesley Orlando, Faith, Jeff, Nick, Zoe and Claire Kummer. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Dorothy was involved with the RYAA and the VFW. She loved shopping at Boscov's, enjoyed going out to eat at local diners, and loved spending time with her beloved dog Cosmo.
There will be a visitation from 10am to 11am Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 11am at the funeral home.
Interment Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville.
