"I am so sad to hear this! I?m a classmate of Bert?s ever since little kids at Pymosa - think he was there in first grade? I always loved Bert because he was always nice to me and didn?t make fun of me. He always made me laugh in high school. I am praying for Jesus to comfort you all! I wish he would?ve come back for class reunions I was at."

Tanya Caraher wrote on Dec 8, 2022:

"I will never forget him taking me and the twins to Ames to grocery shop in his Dakota truck- he wondered if the twins had an off button!!! Lol- and teaching him how to just turn on a computer. And the countless times he showed such patience and grace when helping me work on my cars and the many many questions I would ask. There is not enough words or time to encompass the meaning he had in my life and many others. He will be missed more than he knew."

Janice Harpenau & family wrote on Dec 8, 2022:
