In loving memory of

Glenn Earl Mulholland
May 9, 1932 - December 12, 2022

Our cherished Glenn Earl Mulholland (90) of Rochester, MN went to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, on the morning of December 12th, 2022.

Glenn was born in Wabasha County, Minnesota on May 9th, 1932, to Claude Earl Mulholland and Annie Laurie Pencille Mulholland. Glenn was the sixth of eleven children and grew up on a farm in rural Zumbro Falls, Mn. Glenn learned at a very young age the value of work and he said the most important gift his parents gave him was "family worship hour." At the age of 8 years, he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Great Redeemer, which he said changed his life forever.

Glenn graduated from Mazeppa High School, class of 1950. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, stationed in Korea with the 36th Combat Engineers of the Tenth Corp. During this he courted and won the heart of Nancy Schultz, the absolute love of his life!

On October 16th, 1954, Glenn "gave his freedom away again, only this time freely, to Miss Nancy Schultz." Nancy was Glenn's greatest treasure, the love of his life and a constant companion.

Glenn describes the three years together before welcoming their children as, "wonderful, carefree years of pure luxury." They were blessed with three children, Douglas, Jane, and Dan.

Glenn graduated with a degree of Industrial Administration from the School of Business at the University of Minnesota in 1959 and worked at Western Electric as an Industrial Engineer until 1963, at which time he joined his brother Maurice in starting a construction business. In 1972 he formed his own company, retiring in 1995.

Glenn and Nancy had a zeal for Christian education and worked tirelessly and generously for it. Glenn loved life and enjoyed traveling, boating, flying, reading, studying history and theology, and being active in his church.

His one great love was his wife Nancy to whom he was constantly saying, "Thank you for saying 'yes'." Glenn was a beautiful soul, full of wisdom and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and poured his life into them. A few important lessons Glenn learned and shared with us were: "Even if you are a full-blooded lion, don't ever dance with elephants," and "Your family is your most important possession." Lastly, Glenn's truth was "Whenever someone takes everything you own away, the only thing you have left is what you have already given away." Glenn was talented, artistic, upbeat, smart, determined, distinguished and one fully amazing human being. He will be missed by all.

Glenn is survived by his wife Nancy; three children, Douglas (Diana) Mulholland, Jane (Darrel) Mohler and Dan Mulholland; ten grandchildren, Andrea (Graham) Hunter, Crystal (Ryan) Hexum, Cory (Megan) Mulholland, Elisabeth (Brett) Castelloe, Anna (Micah) Johnson, Ben (Glenna) Mohler, Christina (Ben) Sprunger, Nate (Leanna) Mohler, Rebekah (Sam) Miller, Grace (Eric) Pahnisch and 18 great-grandchildren. Glenn and Nancy had the blessing of total love and bliss for over 70 years.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 5905 Silas Dent Rd NW, Rochester, MN. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens. To stream the service live on the day of, please use the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4JtOMLd4DJhaNpvN1Lo-jQ/live
