Exilda Marie DiCaprio (nee Cook), on December 12, 2022 of Blackwood, NJ; formerly of Philadelphia, PA and more recently, Runnemede, NJ. Age 89.
Exilda passed away peacefully surrounded by her children who loved her dearly. Cherished wife of the late Dominic F. DiCaprio, Sr. of 54 years. Beloved mother of Dominic F. DiCaprio, Jr (Sandra) and Dana M. DiCaprio Griffith (Rodney). Loving grandmother of Joey, Jared, Jayden, Nicolas and Brittena.
Before leaving her job to raise her children as a stay-at-home mother, Exilda worked as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone for many years. She loved spending time with her family, reading books, getting manicures, texting and playing on her iPad, and getting lost in all of her endless TV shows and movies.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing Monday morning, December 19, 2022 from 9:30am to 11:00 am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR, 200 S. Black Horse Pike, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
Funeral service 11:00am at the funeral home.
Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
