Gerald F. Zaverousky
August 17, 1943 - December 23, 2022

Gerald Francis "Jerry" Zaverousky, of Antigo, died Friday, December 23, 2022, under palliative care at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 79 years old. He was born on August 17, 1943, in Antigo, a son of Joseph and Evelyn (Mosher) Zaverousky.

Jerry was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1961. He was a hard worker, having worked on the family farm, Frost Veneer, Kraft Foods, Antigo Cheese, and Satori until his retirement.

He enjoyed watching old westerns, cutting firewood, going to the casino and spending time with his family.

Survivors include two sisters, Judith (Randy) Lapan of Deerbrook and Mary Damos of Antigo; three brothers, James (Susan) Zaverousky of Jacksonville, Fla., Thomas (Gail) Zaverousky of Antigo, and Timothy (Doris) Zaverousky of Antigo; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, James Damos; nephew, Blakely Zaverousky; paternal grandfathers, Joseph Fronek and Anton Zaverousky; paternal grandmother, May Zaverousky; maternal grandmother, Clara Mosher; and maternal grandfather, William Mosher.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend George Daniel officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 am until the time of service.
