"I'm so sorry for this loss. My heart goes out to everyone mourning. Lori was one of the first few people I met in my new job when I moved to Iowa from the south. She took me under her wing, sharing stories with me, inviting me to events at her church, and giving me advice on all manner of things including driving in the snow and where to find deals on groceries and gas. Even after we each moved on to other roles, she would still reach out to me to share life updates and catch up. I'm so grateful to have met her."

"So sorry to hear of Lori's passing. I am a high school classmate. We weren't in the same friend circle back then, but I discovered in more recent years that we should have been, as we had so much in common. I just saw her in Muscatine a few weeks ago and never dreamed it would be the last time. I'm really glad we connected in the last 10 years or so, but I wish we had had more time. It's comforting to know she's now with her Tom. My deepest sympathy to the family."

"Dear Lori, I hope you're able to read this from Heaven. I hate that you're gone, but know Tom was waiting there for you. I know you're not in pain and are on the path to your eternal life with your husband and grandbaby. Selfishly, I still wish you were here. I wish I could hug you one last time. I wish I could hear your voice and hear your laugh. You knew just what to say or do when I was struggling. You my friend are far beyond missed! The only comfort in this time is that you are with Tom. I know it wasn't easy for you to be without him and I told you, you would be with him again one day, but don't leave to soon.. you sure did leave way to soon. Lori, I will miss you more then you could possibly know and hopefully one day (not to soon, hopefully 50 years from now) I will see you again in Heaven as long as the good Lord commands it. I love you my friend. Rest peacefully now and please watch over us. Love, Liz"
