Judith Ann Vermurlen
July 8, 1938 - January 8, 2023

Judith A. Vermurlen, 84, of Grand Haven went to be with her Lord on January 8, 2023.

She was born in Grand Haven, Michigan to Harry C. Warner and Joanna (Sevenski) Warner on July 8, 1938. She married Jacob A. Vermurlen, Jr. on April 12, 1958.

Mrs. Vermurlen did secretarial work for Grand Haven Public Schools, Gardner-Denver Company and AMO Substance Abuse Agency but homemaking and volunteer work were her favored tasks. She was a member of the Grand Haven Charismatic Prayer Group and St. Patrick Church where she served in various ministries. In 1993, she became a licensed Child Care Provider until retirement in 2005.

Survivors include 4 daughters - Susan Anders (Jay) of Grand Haven, Barbara Patton of Grand Haven, Katherine (Aschraf) Mikhail of Dublin, Ohio, Sara (Jim) Januszka of Killeen, Texas.: 1 son - Jacob (Brenda) Vermurlen, III; a sister, Patricia Stein of Australia; brother-in-laws Donald (Glo) Shears, Charles (Mary Lou) Vermurlen, Edward (Ruth) Vermurlen; sister-in-law Mary (Richard) Marod; To her 16 surviving grandchildren, she will be lovingly remembered as Play Dough Grandma.

Preceding her in death were husband, Jacob Vermurlen, Jr.; sister, Jacqueline Shears; grandson Samuel Patton; son-in-law David Patton and her parents.

Funeral arrangements are by the Clock Funeral Home. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service at Lake Forest Cemetery with immediate family will be held at a later date.
