"Lou and Gib were a big part of our lives. Gib was a devoted husband, father and police officer. Took care of some us in Hazel Park when we showed up at the police station. An avid hunter along with my dad. They were friends for years. He was such a good man. RIP Gib and rejoice that you are with your beloved Lou."

"To simply one of the very finest men I ever know in all of my life and I mean that across all the spectrums of life. A true inspiration and example of what a man should be. As one of Bill's very best friends from childhood, high school and through out life, he always genuinely cared about each and everyone of us! I really don't think I have ever know a finer man as an example for my life. This is surely not only a loss to his family and close friends, but to everyone you ever knew him. May he forever Rest in Peace!"

"My goodness will he be missed! His warmth and way of making you feel like his favorite person was so so wonderful. Seeing him across the room at family gatherings and he?d just draw you in with his big smile, his humor and his stories! From a very young age I have had so much love for him and how special he always made me feel. The last time we saw each other he made me feel 20 years younger and the prettiest gal in the room. I sure will miss seeing him from time to time. Sending his kids and grandkids all the good vibes and love in the world! "
