Bette Elaine Stoltz
August 3, 1943 - January 18, 2023

Bette Elaine Stoltz, of Antigo, died on January 18, 2023 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 79 years old. She was born on August 3, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan, a daughter of Roy and Fern (Bunchew) Cole. She married Ronald Stoltz on April 13, 1968 in California. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2022.

Bette enjoyed trips to the Casino, gardening, baking, and watching the hummingbirds. She loved spending time with family, playing cards, and celebrating the holidays.

Survivors include four daughters, Fern Cole of Colorado, Irene Clarke of Montana, Ellen Day and Tina (William) Romero both of Antigo; a son, Ronald "Butch" (Special friend Cindy) Stoltz Jr. of Crandon; 12 grandchildren, Travis, Kristin, Gary, Eric, Dawn, Kathy, Lisa, Kenny, Jose, Melisa, Josie, and Wilferdo; 24 great-grandchildren; a sister Vernita Cole of Colorado; brother-in-law, LaVerne Stoltz and sister-in-law, Lucille Buchkowski both of Hatley.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kendra; sister, Wanita "Babe"; brother, Eugene; brothers-in-law, Eugene Stoltz and Norman Buchkowski; and sister-in-law, Darlene Stoltz

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
