In loving memory of

Julian Joseph De Milto
August 23, 1932 - January 20, 2023

Julian Joseph (Joe) De Milto, 90, passed away in Sicklerville, NJ on January 20, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, Joe spent most of his life in New Jersey. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, graduated from Rider University, and worked for GE Aerospace for most of his career.

Joe was an avid traveler, sailor, fisherman, cook, and reader. Among the many places he visited were Timbuktu, Katmandu, Norway, Israel, China, and Russia. Joe sailed, and skippered boats, on the Chesapeake Bay, the Delaware River, various Caribbean islands, Greece, Spain, Turkey, and Croatia.

Closer to home, Joe enjoyed the Jersey shore and trips to New York City and center city Philadelphia. At the Jersey shore, he fished for many hours, and enjoyed watching the sunsets over Delaware Bay and relaxing on the back deck of our shore house. He made delicious pasta sauce and always had a stack of books waiting to be read.

Joe is survived by his wife Lori, and his family, Simon Zayon and The Morrows: Lisa, Dan, Zachary, Dylan, and Trevor. He was always a tower or strength for Lori and fought as hard as he could to stay as healthy as he could for her. She will miss him greatly.

If you'd like to honor his memory, please make a donation in his name to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or your favorite charity.
