In loving memory of

John "Jack" Frederiksen
September 17, 1935 - January 24, 2023

John C. "Jack" Frederiksen, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Rockwall, Texas, passed on January 24, 2023, in his home surrounded by love and his family. Born September 17, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the eldest son of John and Frances (Holt) Frederiksen. He married Arlene Roth on July 19, 1958, at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, Wisconsin.

Jack began his career as a tool and die maker later retiring in management from AT&T. Jack and Arlene owned and operated a Hallmark card store in Richardson from 1972-79. In retirement, Jack owned a Farmer's Insurance Agency in Rockwall, TX.

Jack was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserves. He was a devout member of the Catholic Church and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered and was a past president with the Telephone Pioneers of America. In retirement, Jack and Arlene spent their summers at his family home in Antigo.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Frederiksen of Rockwall; four children, Dawn Frederiksen of Rockwall, Darlene Hersh of Danville, CA, John (Michell) Frederiksen of Rockwall, and Mark (Jennifer) Frederiksen of Frisco, TX; four grandchildren, Ashlie, John, Natalie, and Ryan; two sisters, Ruthann (William) Gries of Wausau, WI, and Jean (Elias) Jahner of Appleton, WI; and a brother, Robert (Jeannie) Frederiksen of Milwaukee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane and a sister-in-law, Donna Frederiksen.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Reverend Joel Sember officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.

Burial will take place at the Queen of Peace Cemetery.
