"I met Robyn through the Art Therapy program at WSU. We became classmates and good friends through shared experiences, plants, art and excitement for the future. She was such a light, so talented and thoughtful in the way she spoke and created. When she shared stories of her daughter, her mini me, she shined brighter. It is with a deep ache that I heard the news of your passing as I talked to you not too long ago. You will forever be missed, but never forgotten. I'm so happy that I got to meet you, befriend you and learn with you. I wish the world got to hold onto all of you and your talents longer. Rest easy my dear. My deepest thoughts go out to your daughter and your family, may they forever remind her of how wonderful her mother was ??"

"Robyn was a strong student in our art therapy and counseling program; much respected and liked by her peers and instructors. In addition to her work at Karmanos as was mentioned in the beautiful obituary, Robyn was helping to lead an art therapy group of children who were refugees from Afghanistan. She was a good observer and sensitive to the children's expressions in their art; her presence in this group was gentle and supportive. Robyn often talked about her daughter, about whom she was very proud. My thoughts are with you, Roslyn, and with the entire family. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing Robyn. Holly Feen-Calligan, Art Therapy Program Coordinator "
