Manuel Rosario
January 5, 1950 - February 1, 2023

Manuel Anthony Rosario January 5, 1950 and passed away February 1, 2023. Manuel "Manny" was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico and moved to the United States in his early twenties, which was about 50 years ago. He was a certified master mechanic. Manny loved to sing as a hobby, even had his own band and was doing gigs. Elvis Presley was his music idol, and even dressed really sharp like Elvis. Manny was a man of faith even being baptized in the Catholic Church. Manny was also quiet, reserved, very private, and loved living a simple life. Manny carried a sense of humor throughout his life, was very hardworking. Manny was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed the best he could. These past few years of his life he really worked hard on rebuilding his relationships with his family. Manuel wasn't just Manuel, he was well known to others in his community as "GrandPop" and "Manny the Mechanic". Manny was liked and loved by so many people, and was the patriarch of his family. Manny is survived by his beloved wife Ana E. Rosario, loving children Dawn Michele Rosario-Rhodes (Michael Rhodes), Manny E. Rosario, Jimmy A. Rosario Sr., and grandfather of Gavin Rhodes, Rushton Rhodes, Manny David Rosario, Justin Adam Rosario, Jimmy Angel Rosario Jr., Matthew Alexander Rosario, Gabriel Michael Rosario, Gianni Rosario, great grandfather of Jimmy Angel Rosario III, Analiyah Elianna Rosario, Zenaida Rosario. Manny was a brother, uncle, cousin, and friend that will be missed by all who knew him. Manny is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Rosario and Rosa Alvarado. A son Anthony Joseph Rosario, and grandson Nico Antonio Rosario. Viewing Thursday, February 09, 2023 1:00pm until 4:00 pm (3:00 pm prayer service). In State Friday, February 10, 2023 at 9:30 am and 10:00 am Mass Ste Anne Catholic Church 1000 Ste. Anne Street Detroit, Michigan 48216. Burial will take place at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.

I?m hurt and angry with god for taking such a good dude out of my life. I know you are in a better place I just hate to know u had to leave us so soon. Our life?s will never be the same. Your great granddaughter was looking for you the day you left. I know that she is going to be very confused on as to where you are but I told baby girl you are in God?s hands and he is taking care of you.
